West Virginia Department of Human Services Announces closure of LIEAP Application Period

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Human Services (DoHS) announced today that it will stop accepting applications for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) at the close of business on Monday, February 9, 2026, due to the exhaustion of regular LIEAP funding.

All applications submitted through the PATH portal by February 9, 2026, as well as mailed applications postmarked on or before that date, will continue to be accepted and processed.
